Scissors are used in gathering Cloth off of dead monsters whose corpse sparkles.
Item must be equipped in order to harvest the corpse. Using Carbonyx Scissors is only possible inside of a Combat Encounter.
These scissors can be purchased from Zieri in Askagard, or crafted by a Maker.
Scavenging experience is gained when succeeding and/or failing to harvest a corpse.
